Nick Ocker Manufacturing Jewellers is a family run business that was originally established in Pretoria in 1876. It was passed down the generations and today it is still owned and run by one of the talented Ocker descendants. The store was brought to the beautiful Garden Route in 1992 by the 2nd oldest of the Ocker brothers. Nick himself has been working at the bench for 40 years and is well sought after. He is known for producing quality timeless pieces with an artistic flare. Nick specialises in manufacturing Platinum, Gold and Silver jewellery.
Nick Ocker Jewellers offer more than just the manufacturing side of jewellery. We have retail items on display in gold and silver, we offer a restringing service for pearls and precious stone necklaces and do jewellery repairs. We also stock and fit watch straps and are qualified to fit batteries for virtually all watches.
We can easily be located in the Mall’s Westend section under the big clock. The clock itself carries a bit of history as it was built by Smith’s in England and imported to first bear proud the Ocker name outside the original Pretoria store in 1945.
